VOL Research Ranking of Spanish Public Universities Background: The changes produced in the Spanish university system due to the Bologna process require periodically updated evaluation reports of research activity. The objective of this study is to update the last available ranking of Spanish public universities, based on data from Results : Globally, the universities Complutense of Madrid, Barcelona, and Granada hold the first positions in terms of production, while the first positions in terms of productivity are held by the universities Pompeu Fabra, Autonomous of Madrid, and Autonomous of Barcelona.
Conclusions : The universities that hold the top positions in this ranking remain relatively steady over time and are also the Spanish universities that stand out in international classifications. This study aims to identify the personal and family factors of European students who do not perform as expected, whether by surpassing expectations resilient or by failing to meet them low performers. Academic performance was evaluated via a reading comprehension test.
For each country, two binary logistic regression models were used, one for resilient students and the other for low performers. Variables related to the students and their families were used as predictor variables. Results: Significant differences were found between European countries in terms of the proportion of resilient and low performing students. The two variables with the most predictive power were student confidence with reading, and having done early literacy activities.
El presente trabajo trata de identificar los factores personales y familiares de los estudiantes europeos que no obtienen el rendimiento esperado, bien sea porque superan las expectativas previas resilientes , o porque rinden por debajo de lo esperado low performers. Como variables predictoras se utilizaron variables asociadas al alumno y a su familia. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar sus implicaciones y cuantificar sus efectos en los Factores de Impacto. The Emerging Sources Citation Index and the internationalization of Spanish scientific journals, with special reference to Psychology journals.
